Information on Special Investor’s Resident Visa
The Bureau of Immigration (BI) issues “Special Investor’s Resident Visa” (SIRV) upon endorsement of the Board of Investments (BOI), to foreign nationals aged twenty-one (21) and older. This visa entitles the holder and his dependents (qualified dependents: spouse and unmarried children under the age of twenty-one (21) ), indefinite residence in the Philippines, with multiple entry privileges. The visa remains valid as long as the investment subsists.
SIRV Minimum Investment
To qualify for The Special Investor’s Resident Visa (SIRV) Program, a minimum investment of Seventy Five Thousand USD ($75,000) must be remitted into the Philippines, through any authorized depository bank.
Validity of Visa
Upon application a six (6) month probationary SIRV is issued. Once the required documents are submitted by the applicant to the Board of Investments (BOI), the probationary SIRV shall be converted into an indefinite SIRV.
The applicant must not have been convicted of any grave crimes, be stricken with any repugnant, hazardous or infectious disease; and has not been institutionalized for any mental illness or disability.
